Alberta Centre for Child, Family and Community Research

Healthy Parents, Healthy Children – a collection of resources to help parents raise healthy children has been launched by Alberta Health Services.  The resources, designed for new and expecting parents, include two new books and a website full of the tips, tools and supports parents need to to help their children stay healthy.

Children’s Research Triangle – research pertaining to child development

MotherRisk by SickKids –  covers everything relating to reproductive health of mothers, operated by the Toronto Sick Kids’ Hospital.

Zero to Three – covers everything from child development, to infant mental health, to child abuse & neglect.

Alberta Children’s Services – Includes information on daycare licensing, women’s shelters, subsidy considerations, child & youth advocate, etc.

New Canadian Food Guide – includes guidelines for children, nursing/pregnant moms, etc.

CityandBaby – a local blog that explores all that Edmonton and area has to offer families with babes under the age of six.
